The workshop is practical with emphasis on skill transfer to the delegates. They will also build a number of models to reuse: a financial ratio mask sheet, loan calculator and amortization tables, and an EVA tracker. Delegates will also master a number of advanced MS Excel skills.

About The Trainer?

Johan Bosman

Johan Bosman holds degrees in both law and financial management. During his management career, he was a lieutenant-colonel in the South African Police and subsequently became the CEO of several companies in South Africa, Tanzania, and Nigeria. Currently, he is a full-time trainer, drawing from his personal experience to deliver training sessions that focus on the aspects that contributed to his successful management career. His training fields encompass financial management, applied law, diversity, psychological communication skills, and general management skills.

Johan frequently conducts training workshops across Southern, Eastern, and Central Africa, as well as in Arabia. Occasionally, he also conducts workshops in Europe and the USA. He has gained popularity in the classroom and is dedicated to leaving behind a high-quality skill set in his trainees. Johan is married and resides in Mossel Bay, South Africa. Additionally, he maintains a farm just outside Pretoria, South Africa, where he breeds Nguni cattle and Dorper sheep. His extensive travels throughout Africa have fueled his passion for the continent, its people, and its cultures. Johan is one of the founding members of the Southern Africa Professional Trainers’ Association (SAPTA).

Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms:

  • Payment is required within five (5) working days on receipt of tax invoice.
  • Following completion and return of the registration form, full payment is required within five (5) working days from receipt of tax invoice.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission and withhold CPD points and certificate if payment is not received on time, a payment or an official purchase order must be received prior to the conference or training seminar.

Fees:

  • Fees are exclusive of VAT
  • Bulk discounts are not calculated on early bird price. Invoiced amounts need to be paid on or before the early bird date to receive the rate.

Cancellation Policy:

  • All cancellations must be sent in writing at least 10 working days prior to the event.
  • Cancellations within 10 working days before the event starts will not receive any refund and will be liable for the full invoiced amount, however, a substitution of the delegate will be allowed.

Indemnity:

  • Should for any reason outside the control of BEST Training events, the dates or speakers change, or the event is cancelled due to an act of terrorism, extreme weather conditions or industrial action, BEST Training shall endeavour to reschedule but the client hereby indemnifies and holds BEST Training harmless from and against any and all costs, damages and expenses, including attorney’s fees, which are incurred by the client.
  • The construction, validity and performance of this agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of South Africa and to the exclusive jurisdiction of whose courts the parties hereby agree to submit.

No-shows:

  • Registrants who do not attend the event, without written notices as per the cancellation policy will be liable for 100% of the invoiced amount.
